“Pupin – From Physical to Spiritual Realities”, an exhibition dedicated to one of the greatest scientists ever Mihajlo Pupin, is open and will be on till the end of February 2016. This interactive exhibition is held in Historical Museum Belgrade, which is known to give amazing exhibitions and ever appealing themes.
Before we visited the exhibition, we heard many very positive comments from our friends. It turns out they were all true, and that the experience of the exhibition is something unspeakable. It is detailed, full of information, pictures, sounds, special effects. When you enter the museum, you get the information on how you can download the app you can use to make the experience more interactive (available on IOS and Android phones) – parts of the exhibition that have interactive content in the app are marked. This gives you a unique experience of walking through the show and learning more about what you’re interested in.
The timeline that goes from Pupin’s childhood, to his trip from Serbia to New York, through his greatest patents and work as a professor on Columbia University, to his charity work. His wise words cannot leave you indifferent. This is an exhibition where you will learn a lot, but you will also feel motivated and pushed into doing good. Pupin’s legacy calls every single one of us to be our best selves.
Tickets cost 200 RSD and 100 RSD for students, but you can use the same ticket to return to the exhibition again, as it’s huge and needs maybe a second look so you can go through everything thoroughly.
